It is time again for the annual Avon Lake Invitational! This meet will be held on July 21st in Avon Lake, Ohio. It is an invitational meet that includes USA teams, YMCA teams, and also summer recreation teams. This year will be NEON's third year competing - in our first year we finished in third place and last year we finished in first! We'd like to bring home another first place trophy this year, so we need everyone to sign up and compete! From Bronze all the way up to Platinum, the newest swimmers to the most experienced, we want you all to participate!We love to take as much of our team as possible to this meet because it is a great team atmosphere (last year almost the entire NEON team attended and we'd love to have another big turn-out this summer). Each year we set up tents with food and drinks and the kids have a blast. The more swimmers that participate, the more relays we can have in each age group (starting at 6 & Under!). The swimmers really enjoy the competition (not to mention the ability to play in the "fun" parts of the outdoor pool during the break given at the half-way point of the meet).
Entries for this meet are due by midnight on Friday July 5th. Please send your entries to neonswimming@gmail.com. Coaches will choose which events swimmers will be entered in for this meet.
