Meet Information: CCS Age Group and Open

The CCS Age Group and Open Meet will take place on October 12th -13th and is a great meet for swimmers in any group (Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum). There are no time standards for this meet, it is open to all swimmers. The morning session is for 12 & Under swimmers, with 13 & Older swimmers in the afternoon session. See below for meet start times.

The due date for entries is Wednesday September 18th by midnight. Please send entries to neonswimming@gmail.com. Put the meet name (CCS Meet) in the subject line and in the body of the e-mail provide the name(s) of the swimmer(s) and if you are entering both days, only Saturday, or only Sunday. If you do not specify, your swimmer will be entered in both days. 

CCS AGE GROUP AND OPEN SWIM MEET

OCTOBER 12^th AND 13^th, 2013

LOCATION:  C.T. Branin Natatorium, 1715 Harrison Ave NW, Canton, OH 44708 (Next to the Pro Football Hall of Fame)

STARTING TIMES: Both Saturday and Sunday morning session warm-up will be 7:45 – 8:30 a.m., with competition starting at 8:35 a.m.  Afternoon warm-up will begin 15 minutes after the conclusion of the morning session.  The meet will start after a 45-minute warm-up session.  Estimated afternoon start times will be posted on the  www.lakeerieswimming.com by Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013.  

ENTRY FEES: Individual events $4.50; Relays: $8.00; a $2.00 per swimmer LESI surcharge.  There is a $1.00/swimmer handling fee.

ENTRY LIMITATIONS: Swimmers may enter three individual events/day exclusive of relays. 

DECK ENTRIES: Will be accepted on a space available basis until 35 minutes prior to the start of each session. Deck entrants should sign up at the deck entry table located on the pool deck. Costs are $9.00 per individual event; $16.00 per relay event.  Deck entry swimmers will be seeded at no time (NT).  Deck entry swimmers new to the meet will be charged $2.00 LESI surcharge and must provide proof of USA Swimming Registration.  

SEEDING & CHECK IN:  All swimmers must check-in at least 30 minutes prior to the start of their session.  Check-in sheets will be posted on the pool deck under the scoreboard by the diving well. 

AWARDS:  Individual Events:       Medals: First - Third     Ribbons: Fourth - Eighth

      Relay Events:            Medals: First               Ribbons: Second - Third           

               * No Awards for 15 & Over

                 Trophies will be given to teams finishing 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd overall.

           

ADMISSION COST:    $3.00 per spectator          Heat Sheets $2.00  

NOTE:  Only athletes entered in the meet, working coaches, officials, and meet workers are allowed on deck.  Other non-participants are expected to remain in the spectator area.

DIRECTIONS: From the North: Exit I-77 at Fulton Road exit.  Continue across Fulton about 4 blocks to dead-end.  Turn left toward I-77.  Turn left into McKinley High School complex.  The Natatorium is on your right.  Find a place to park in McKinley parking lot.
