Meet Information: Barbara Kay Mini Champs

The Barbara Kay Mini Champs Meet will be held March 2nd - 3rd at Thomas Worthington High School. This meet is for swimmers aged 8 & under only. This is a really fun meet for the younger swimmers, and they try to make it a really fun experience. Participation trophies are given to every swimmer, and places 1-6 get trophies while 7-12 get ribbons. You can choose to enter Saturday only, Sunday only, or both days.

The due date for entries is Saturday February 9th. Please send your entries to neonswimming@gmail.com.

Please  provide the name(s) of your swimmer(s) in the e-mail, which days you would like to enter (Saturday, Sunday, or both days), and how many events you would like them entered in (up to 5 events per day).

Barbara Kay Mini Champs Meet

March 2-3, 2013

LOCATION:  C. David Howell Worthington Pools Complex, 400 West Dublin Granville Road (State Route 161), Thomas Worthington High School Campus, Worthington, OH.

STARTING TIMES: Girls swim in the morning session of this meet with boys swimming in the afternoon. Warm-ups will be held from 7:50 – 8:50 a.m. for the morning session, with competition starting at 9:00 a.m.  Afternoon warm-ups will be 1:30 p.m.-2:10 p.m. with competition starting at 2:20 p.m.

ENTRY FEES: Individual Events: $4.00 per individual event
Relay Events: $7.00 per relay team
Ohio Swimming Travel Fund: $1.00 per swimmer
Championship Meet Facility Charge: $1.00 per swimmer

ENTRY LIMITATIONS: Swimmers may enter up to 5 individual events per day.

AWARDS: Trophies will be awarded for places 1-6 and ribbons will be awarded for places 7-12 in 
individual events. Ribbons will be awarded for places 1-6 in relays. Heat ribbons will be 
awarded for all age groups.  Participation trophies will be given to all swimmers upon arrival at 
the pool.  Individual high point and high point runner-up awards will be awarded for each age 
group.  Team trophies for the first and second place teams will be awarded.
